Claridge’s is the jewel in the crown of London hotels and my absolute favourite. The service is impeccable no matter who you are and it always feels like a treat to go there, whether for tea or late night drinks – I’ve even been known to go there for breakfast, which may I say is a very good way to start the day! However, as London weddings go they don’t really get better than Claridge’s with the beautiful rooms in which to hold all manner and size of celebration.
The couple S & I had recently returned to the UK from the US and they wanted to have close family and friends sharing the day with them. We photographed the couple’s portraits at their pre-wedding session at Stowe, so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests enjoying beautiful Spanish guitar music at the reception in The French Salon. The whole day was so special and the bride made such a huge effort with every single element of the wedding including the incredible floral arrangements by McQueens.
